1910s, artists and designers tried to present the way of people thought, so they designed posters were more focus on the way of thinking, therefore, various abstract posters were created. Designers broke all the rules, so the formats of design was the sign of innovation. Elements were arranged and randomly placed in images. Images had flat tone and abstract shapes, specially, colour bars were one way of abstract . Lines and shape were not logically place in images, but followed emotional feelings to place the way designers like.
